Tarot 2-12-1-3-11

Creator(s): Lynyrd-Jym Narciso
Date: 2010
Country: Philippines

Publisher: self-published
Number of Cards: 22
ISBN:

Type: RWS

Reference: tarotgarden

Notes:
The 2-12-1-3-11 is a "faux-vintaged" reproduction of the RWS majors. Faces, hands and sometimes whole persons are blackened, what made the images look like photo-negative.

The title of the deck  reads BLACK, when you substitute the number with the letter at the position in the alphabet given by the number.

This miniature deck is a limited edition of only 50 copies. Mine is number 35.

Vanessa Tarot

Creator(s): Lynyrd-Jym Narciso
Date: 2007
Country: USA

Publisher: US Games
Number of Cards: 78
ISBN: 978-1-57281-574-2

Type: RWS
Reference: aeclectic

Notes:
The deck has been inspired by the heroines of pop culture. The Emperor shows a woman looking like Hillary Clinton as president of the United States. The Two of Wands looks like Sophia Loren as a chemist. The Eight of wands has Samantha from “Bewitched” riding with an escort of empty broomsticks.

The cards are smaller than most Tarot decks and measure 9,5 x 6cm. The fully reversible backs show a purple-striped background with blue stars. The deck comes  in a purple tin box. In the LWB each Major card has a little description of the image and a set of meanings for upright and reversed positions, the minors are listed by number.

Tarot ng Daigdig sa Balintataw

Creator(s): Lynyrd-Jym Narciso
Date: 2009
Country: United Kingdom

Publisher: Adam McLean
Number of Cards: 22
ISBN:

Type: RWS
Reference:  Adam McLean

Notes:
The Tarot ng Daigdig sa Balintataw ( 'The World Inside the Pupil Tarot') is "Art Tarots Number 21" from Adam McLean's Artwork Tarot Series.

Narciso's art is anchored in strong underlying drawing, which he has coloured with subtle muted tones keyed to a tight palette. He uses a rather neat technique of altering the contrast in the line drawing so as to create a background, middle ground and foreground to the forms.
