The reversible backs show an extract from the Emperor card mirrored from the centre line. The deck comes with a LWB in five languages,  but there’s no mention of the depicted historical events save the names associated with the Majors.

Notes:
Anthropoligist and writer Tata Emanuele Coltro Guidi conceptualized this deck, seeking to link the deities, faith, spirituality, and practices of Cuban Santeria (Regla de Ocha or Regla Lukumi) into the framework of occult tarot. The illustrations were rendered by Luigi Scapini.

Each card is dedicated to an Orisha, an Elder in the religion, or a certain Pataki. A Pataki is a tale that explains the life of an Orisha, or a situation in the Orishas life that teaches a moral lesson. For example the Enamorados, "The Lovers" depicts the tale of Chango, Ochun and Obba; how Ochun tricked Obba into slicing her ear and placing it into Chango's food.

The Majors have Spanish titles over which the symbols and the name of the Afro-Cuban Orisha are superimposed . The four suits are: Bastos for Wands, Copas for Cups, Espadas for Swords and Oros for Coins. The court cards are: Rey, the King; Reina, the Queen; Caballo, the Knight and Sota for the Page.

The reversible backs show the believed Ancestors Santero and Santera, Negro Fransisco and Negra Thomasa, separated by Cowrie Shells on a red background.

Square and Compasses Tarot

Creator(s): Colin Browne
Date: 2003
Country: Belgium

Publisher: self-published
Number of Cards: 78
ISBN:
620-31138-X
Type: Masonic
Reference: semarch

Notes:
The Major Arcana are not numbered and with traditional French titles.  For the Pips, the card number is in black at the top - there are no titles, but the cards do contain pictures. The Court Cards contain no numbers and no titles.  They are categorized as King-Knight, Queen, Prince, and Princess. The Prince and Princess simply are marked P and have a Venus glyph after the P for Princess and a glyph of Mars after the P for Prince. The Queen is marked "Q" and the King-Knight, "Kt." They show no humans but only the emblem of the suit.

The deck is mainly based on cabbalistic principles, the suits correspond to Atziluth, Briah, Yetzirah, and Assiah.

The back of the cards is reversible and shows a white background, with the square and compass glyphs on the top and bottom of the card in black. On one side of the box is printed ITNOTGAOTU, those letters stand for "In The Name Of The Great Architect Of The Universe". The LWB that accompanies the deck presents the cards by Kabbalistic Path.
